Facilitator II (Two positions available): -
Youth Service Department – The Facilitator II conducts
outreach and recruitment for program participation;
facilitates multi-component intervention, prevention,
and educational programs; refers clients for counseling
services and other community resources.
Qualifications and Experience: Required
qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in education,
health, social work, or other related human service
field. Preferred qualifications include a
minimum of two years experience in developing and
presenting prevention and education workshops or
programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
FT/Exempt/M-Sat/40 hours per week. EOE
Education Center Director
– The Center Director is responsible for the day to day
operations of each Head Start site. Functions include
the delivery of the Head Start curriculum and effective
instructional practices according to Head Start
regulations. Responsible for developing and maintaining
collaborative relationships, supervising Head Start
staff at their site, maintaining compliance with Head
Start licensing regulations and agency policies as
elated to, but not limited to, staffing, child health
and safety, nutrition, and parent volunteer program
incorporating parental leadership and leading Parent
Advisory Committee. Qualifications include
a Bachelors Degree in Early Child Education or related
field, previous experience teaching preschool children
and previous supervision experience. EOE

Part Time Substitute Teacher/CDA -
The Substitute Teacher delivers the classroom curriculum
in accordance with Head Start regulations, licensing,
and guidelines as well as agency standards. Able to
utilize various learning techniques in the successful
delivery of curricula. CDA required. An AA, or working
toward an AA in Early Childhood Education, previous
classroom experience and bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
preferred.

Part-Time Motor Vehicle
Operator – Project Head Start - The Motor
Vehicle Operator is responsible for the day-to-day
transportation needs of all Head Start participants in
accordance with Head Start regulations, licensing,
guidelines, and agency standards. Safely operates bus to
transport children to and from homes and the Head Start
Centers. Qualifications and Experience: High
School diploma or GED, knowledge of commercial vehicles,
operations and maintenance. State of Texas Commercial
Drivers License CDL) and proof of insurance required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable. Part-Time, 29
hours per week, M-F, Non-Exempt. EOE
